I have a deep love for working with Christian clients, and it is truly one of the most meaningful parts of my work. My background includes being a Bible major at Wheaton College, completing my doctorate in Christian Counseling at Biola University, and studying at Talbot School of Theology. These experiences have shaped both my faith and my clinical approach. I am passionate about integrating biblical wisdom with sound psychological care, and for clients who desire it, I am honored to incorporate prayer into our sessions. Walking alongside clients in a way that honors both their emotional needs and their faith is something I genuinely value and consider a privilege.

The integration of spirituality into the therapy process is a great accelerator of the experience and of the benefits therapy can give you. I can guide the process of connecting your mental, emotional, and relational health to your Christian spiritual framework. This is possible for both individual and couple's therapy. Christianity, biblical principles, and using psychological interventions from a Christian worldview can all be seamless integrated in this approach.

I've been following Jesus for over 30 years. I'm not about Bible-bashing or quoting Scripture you already know ("Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger.") with the belief you should just be able to do it because it's in the Bible - if you *really* love God. But instead I show my clients how they can live out what God and the Bible have to say about their life and relationships in realistic ways that you can actually do. My clients learn to personally experience the love, grace, mercy, gentleness, self-control, kindness, compassion, peace, and forgiveness, the Bible promises - and how to offer these experiences in their relationships with others.

Your faith is part of who you are, and it deserves to be honored in the therapy room, not set aside at the door. I offer a warm, respectful space where your spiritual life and Christian values are welcomed and taken seriously as we work through whatever you're facing. While I help you understand yourself at a deeper level — the patterns, fears, and longings beneath the surface — I do so in a way that respects and works alongside your beliefs rather than against them. Many people find that faith and self-understanding strengthen one another. There's no judgment here for what you believe. Whatever has brought you here, I'm confident we can face it together, with your values guiding the way.

I have learned throughout my life that Christianity Preaches and Judaism Teaches. However believing in one or in the other encourages having the faith towards positivity and love. As we all need to have a belief system which makes us feel as we have a loving tradition to turn to when in need. No one can do it alone. In turning to faith, we are not again, alone.

I specialize in counseling for Christian married couples, specifically those of the LDS faith. Using a faith-based therapy model, I am able to meet clients within their own belief system and help them navigate the challenges of it while tapping into the goodness it provides them. This is particularly helpful for clients who are navigating sexuality and intimacy issues.
