Marie provides a compassionate and supportive space for individuals navigating grief and loss. She recognizes that each person’s journey is unique and honors the full spectrum of emotions that arise during these times, from sadness and anger to confusion and guilt. Through a blend of evidence-based approaches and mindfulness practices, she helps clients process their emotions, find meaning, and gradually integrate the loss into their lives. When working with grief and loss, I use talk therapy, narrative therapy and EMDR to help people process their hurts and be able to move forward. I start with resourcing so that people can develop coping skills and stability before diving into their grief and trauma. With children, play therapy can be a great additional tool to use to help them process their grief indirectly.
