I am a born-again Christian. As a Christian and a mental health therapist, I understand how important it is to have a Christian counselor. As a Christian therapist, I provide counseling from a Biblical perspective without judging you. Just because you are a Christian doesn't mean you don't suffer from depression, anxiety, stress, and interpersonal issues.

Is a Christian Counseling perspective important to you in therapy? As an experienced Christian Counselor and ordained pastor, over the last 15 years I’ve been blessed to help hundreds of men find hope and healing using both psychological and Biblical principles. I believe that Christ is the ultimate source of hope and healing in this life. But I also believe that he’s given us the gift of rational minds, able to discern scientific and psychological truths built into the fabric of His amazing creation. My approach is grounded firmly in Scripture, but I don’t use Scripture as a weapon. You don’t need more guilt, but rather, a reminder of God’s promises and a compassionate guide to support you.

While most Christian Counselors pride themselves on how many Scriptural passages they can recite and how many links they can make from the Bible to psychological disorders, the Christian-centric work of Grey Matters International, Inc.is grounded in one principle: truth. For us, the work is more about truth and transparency of Christ's message and working on the natural laws of accountability and decision making that evolves from that. If one honors God's natural laws of reaping and sowing around the decisions one makes, one is indeed living Scripture to its fullest. Our deepest wounds are often those that are at the hands of another person. Human brokenness is the root of our need for redemption. This holds true in therapy and growth work as well. When we encounter our deep wounds, we encounter our need for our Big God. Here, we are able to reconcile the broken our hurt parts of our ourselves.
