With 23 years of practicing and teaching the science of yoga and spirituality I consider this work sacred. I have a limited amount of session per week to give my clients the attention they need. I work regularly on my own self care which allows me to capture my passion and avoid burn out. For over 25 years I have been intentional about my own personal growth and healing. In everyday life, we don't always get the chance to express how we are really feeling or share our struggles in an honest way. My clinical approach is to help a person/family understand their difficulties, define goals, and develop realistic action plans to resolve the challenge (solution focused). I support the person with what they want, they need, and what they are willing to change. I combine many approaches, with the goal of reducing the severity and frequency of difficulties, as well as improve the person’s overall functioning. The reality is the world is difficult, unfair, and at times overwhelming to the human mind. My hope is that I can help you to improve coping skills, develop healthy thought patterns, eliminate harmful behaviors, heal from any traumatic experiences, and to gain healthy relationships.

I work with an entire person--the mind, emotions, body, spirit, relationships. I offer an alternative approach to traditional psychotherapy because sometimes we are stuck beyond our thoughts. I believe we are often stuck beyond how we think about something, but by how our body holds and remembers the experiences. After all, we feel the anxiety in our chest, shoulders or stomach. When we are depressed, we struggle to move, sleep, concentrate etc. I work to remove the block from wherever it is stuck. My clients come to me after years of ineffective therapy. They are looking for more than talking about their struggles or identifying how they think about them in favor of a change in living.
