My approach to anger management involves learning valuable coping and relaxation skills. However, it also involves learning the root causes of the anger and addressing distortions in thinking. Using Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy I help clients address their beliefs about situations which often cause the feelings and reactions that follow. I use homework, role playing and collaborative treatment goals to help ensure clients make progress and meet their intended objectives.
