My practice focuses on psychological evaluations for many different purposes, including court evaluations, INS evaluations, custody evaluations, competency evaluations, parenting evaluations, safety evaluations, and evaluations for other purposes. In addition, I do take on a small number of therapy clients, typically involving those who are looking for a therapist who thinks outside the box and will give them a different approach than what is typical.

I work from an Existential-Humanist model, which means I focus on the big-picture sorts of questions and goals. With clients, that means that I am focused on their goals, but also on helping them live lives that are meaningful and authentic. BY reaching the goals of my clients, we get them closer to the lives they want to lead and the things they want.

We provide highly instructive brain map reports through EEG analysis, and comprehensive neuropsychological or psychological evaluations, to identify what needs repair, and to lay out a treatment plan that is uniquely customized to each patient.

Psychologists are scientist/practitioners. That means we are aware of the results of research. I have particularly studied research into how people can become happier. I am always studying the latest information on healing trauma and relationship problems. My clients over the years have also taught me a lot.
