I use an emotion-focused approach to couples therapy, helping each partner understand the needs of the others that have gone unmet, leading them to seek counseling. I will help couples understand how past experiences form the way that each person sees a relationship and work with the couple to overcome obstacles such as communication, betrayal, or neglect.
