If you are a Christian, that is exciting to me, as we can now explore God's truth and commandments for living our lives. We know this is a struggle for all of us, that our nature is selfish, but if we are truly living to please our Lord and Savior, then facing our sinfulness, repenting and turning toward God will heal our souls and renew our spirit. I am a Christian myself and value utilizing a Biblical approach in my counseling practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor. While I won't impose my own values on you, I will utilize scripture and prayer during our sessions as much as you are comfortable. I will draw on our faith and rely on the Biblical word to provide a framework for us to look at your circumstances and find ways in which to move forward so that you have the opportunity to live a life that is pleasing to God. There is a certain comfort that comes with being congruent to who you are and to be able to rely on your faith in the counseling process. God is the mighty healer and all things are possible through Him.

I believe when two or more are gathered, God will be with us. I work to surrender to Him in every session. Using the bible as our foundation, gives us common ground on which to walk. This is especially helpful with couples. Your marriage will be my client. I have found scripture can be brought into current counseling methods. There is strength in knowing we do not have to do it all ourselves and my goal is to model this, to draw you closer to God.
