Grief and Loss Counseling in Elsberry, MO.

We all experience loss at some point, but we don't always use, or even see grief as a way to grow our lives and existing relationships. My hope is to build a relationship where people can walk through their grief in their own personal way. As I walk beside people, I hope to help them process the loss, to allow the suffering to eventually be an avenue of growth that can change how they see life and relationships.

I help clients understand what grief and loss are, and what a healthy grieving process looks like. I utilize a grieving framework called "The Tasks of Mourning". I offer clients a safe supportive space to process their grief. Having been a Certified Grief Counselor, I share with clients new understandings of the grieving process that helps them be able to successfully work through their grief.
