You don't have to go through it alone...

At one point or another, we all experience hardship in life. Whether it is grief, anxiety or relationship difficulties, I cannot think of a greater privilege than coming alongside people who are struggling. I love building relationships with people and have a passion for helping them build stronger, more lasting relationships in their lives. I enjoy working with families and couples who seek to strengthen their relationships. I also enjoy working with adults and teens as they seek to figure out the challenges they encounter. I approach counseling with safety, honesty, humility and a sense of humor.  My hope is to be a safe place to walk with individuals through their current troubles.

Individual Counseling

I have worked with individuals and teenagers as they struggle with anxiety, grief, depression, addiction and spiritual confusion. I will work alongside people to help process and understand the patterns that could be contributing factors in the current conflict or issue.  Since many times we feel like we are alone or the only ones feeling lost or in the dark, my goal is to build a strong relationship bond with people. I want to help remind people of the truth - that there is hope even in the darkest of times and with me they will never have to feel like they are alone.

I have special interest in how our faith and spirituality interweaves our life stories. My highest priority is creating a safe relationship and environment for people to process their story and difficulties they are currently facing. I have flexible hours and am able to work with clients of various income levels.

Marriage and Couples Counseling

Sharing your life with someone is a difficult task. Building a marriage that is built on commitment, trust and vulnerability can feel completely overwhelming.  Often times, people don't account for how impactful their past relationships are in how they respond and engage to their current partner.  From families to the most recent or current significant other, everyone has developed certain ways of dealing with their partners.  Often this includes many habits of relating - both good and bad - in relationships which were modeled to us throughout our life.  I seek to help you and your partner recognize the patterns in your relationship and develop new ways of relating and being known.  I have a passion for help people see how stress, anger, anxiety or depression contribute to unhealthy communication.
