Learning to accept the pain of loss is one of the most difficult things we do as human beings. So difficult, in fact, that we often don't let ourselves feel that pain - something that is important to move past it. Talking to a therapist can help you to recognize how that pain has affected your life, and then how you can recover from it and move on.

I help clients understand what grief and loss are, and what a healthy grieving process looks like. I utilize a grieving framework called "The Tasks of Mourning". I offer clients a safe supportive space to process their grief. Having been a Certified Grief Counselor, I share with clients new understandings of the grieving process that helps them be able to successfully work through their grief.
