Addition, stress, and anxiety can be very stressful for families and couples. Although the addict/alcoholic may appear to have the problem, addiction affects the entire family. While the focus may be on counseling the individual, I also request that the couple come in together periodically to assist in the relationship. Although this is not required, it is beneficial to all for educational purposes as well as support. It is my experience that this is important for relationships. If your relationship is stagnant, we can work on the proper tools to assist you in developing a healthy, loving relationship again.
