Grief is such a natural part of life, even everyday life from small disappointments to major crushing losses. It comes with so many feelings such as sadness, anger, numbness, and confusion. Many times it's possible to simply work through it all on your own and let the feelings naturally dissipate. But sometimes it's just WAY too much. Feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope on your own is a sign you should consider giving yourself the gift of support and guidance from a professional. I have needed this myself. There's no shame in needing help.

This means that we use a compassionate approach combined with tools and strategies to support movement through the grief process and to create closure and movement forward that honors the loss.
