I provide couples and relationship counseling to couples experiencing a wide range of relationship issues, commitment issues, communication problems, infidelity, family conflict, and more. Treatment is collaborative and intensive. We work hard together to resolve the presenting problems while identifying the underlying issues. My approach to couples counseling is to create an open and honest space for each individual to be able to express their feelings safely. The goal is to overcome any obstacles that the relationship may be facing and working with the clients to develop their own tools and techniques that they can utilize in their home to strengthen their relationship. I utilize acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and emotion focused therapy.

Couples counseling is the focus-area of my practice. Within that specialization, more specifically, I work with couples coping with infidelity and affair recovery. At the cornerstone of my approach to couples counseling is to help couples deepen their trust and establish a safe emotional climate between them.
