The book I wrote is called THE THIN BOOK and it is essentially the most a compilation of my most effective and successful hypnotherapy transcripts for weight management and weight loss. It has been translated into six languages and contains a CD in which I do several of the trances from the book. I also use guided energy and psychotherapy techniques such as ego-building with my eating disorder clients.

I show people with weight and eating disorders to first fully accept themselves with their problem. It is important to eliminate any shame, guilt and anxiety associated with an eating disorder. I then move onto the primary problem which is the eating disorder. Patients learn the critical role their thinking plays in perpetuating their disorder. I quickly focus in on core beliefs that are at the root of their problems. Together we work to modify these beliefs and replace them with healthier beliefs about eating, one’s body, coping with personal traumas, and engaging in sensible exercise. I teach self-control strategies that help them cope and avoid self-defeating eating behaviors.

We work on the the underlying issues of an eating disorder and refer these clients to a nutritionist. We help these clients identify their triggers and substitute the eating disorder behaviors with more healthy adaptive behaviors. We help these clients develop coping skills to manage and communicate their emotions in healthier ways. We help these clients understand where there eating disordered behaviors stem from and what may be getting in the way of positive change.
