I am a licensed psychologist in the State of New Jersey providing Counseling and Psychotherapy to Individuals, Couples, and Families. I treat a wide range of mental health issues, problem behaviors, and relationship conflicts. I am a member in good standing of the American Psychological Association, the New Jersey Psychological Association, the Somerset-Hunterdon Psychological Association, the International Association for the Study of Dreams, and other specialized professional societies.

Psychologists are unique in that they are trained in research skills and how to evaluate the efficacy of their work. I am results driven. Every week parents are asked to rate their children's progress in terms of behavior, schoolwork, and social responsibility. This feedback is shared with the child or teen in a safe, friendly, and encouraging environment. My approach draws from research and is anchored in my "real life" experience as a clinician and a mom of four. I have a PhD in clinical psychology, which means that after college, I went to graduate school for six years, including a one-year clinical internship. I was trained to conduct and interpret psychological research and to provide psychotherapy. I also completed many hours of supervised clinical experience after earning my doctoral degree and passed a national and state exam to qualify for licensure. I regularly undertake continuing education to ensure that my knowledge and skills are up to date.
