Grief is a normal process; however, it is often necessary to move beyond the pain and to live life again. It does not mean forgetting the loved one, it means moving toward acceptance and healing. I focus on moving through the stages of the grieving process to assist with healing. My approach is supportive and interactional. It is often necessary for the client to have an avenue of emotional expression/ventilation for healing.
