I specialize in working with preteens and teens in order to help them cope with the large variety of challenges that face today's youth. Whether it be lack of self esteem, relocation to a new school, home and family problems or just general anxiety and depression. Eating disorders, self harm and substance abuse are prevalent among today's youth, and some early intervention can help counteract these negative influences.

Currently there are very few providers supporting who we lovingly call "the littles" of our community. This is the 10 and under demographic. Children start to experience stressors earlier and earlier and as the veil of childhood innocence falls they need help coping. Connecting with a professional early on can help out littles make sense of the world. We also provide family and parental coaching to handle challenging behaviors. We incorporate play, art, and music into our work and are in the process of brining on a therapy dog as well.

I offer counseling typically to children 12+ If the child is younger than 12, and needs support for entering middle school, or peer/ social skills with my experience K-12, and graduate school age, please inquire re: need!
