Each coach in our practice has had experience with family dysfunction or discord and we pride ourselves in helping others through this. Some folks need support overcoming family of origin trauma while others need help managing parenting concerns, blending families, or with re-unification. When working with a through the family therapy process, it is important to make sure each individual has a voice is able to communicate and express their experiences. Family therapy requires structure and understanding of different dynamics. My goal is to understand patterns that may be new and in response to stress or intergenerational. From there we will explore methods to communicate boundaries, expectations, and internal worlds to bring the family to a new understanding and more effective conversations.

Families are a system with their own culture, beliefs, and ways of being. Every family member contributes to this culture. Not much progress can be accomplished without recognizing how the thoughts, behaviors, and emotions of each individual influences the entire structure.
