Anger is a normal emotion but what matters is what you do about it and how you respond to it. We discuss with a client the costs of his/her anger and help the client to get to the root of the anger. We also discuss any triggers associated with the anger and teach the client coping skills to help manage his/her anger in a positive way. The goal is for the client to learn coping skills to enable them to manage their anger in a positive manner and ways to problem-solve future difficult situations.
