Anxiety, stress, panic attacks and phobias can be normal parts of daily life BUT they are possible to manage and overcome. I discuss with a client the root cause, help the client understand why they are experiencing these feelings and teach cognitive behavioral therapy to manage them. Trauma I help a client understand why they are experiencing their current symptoms since the traumatic event. The client will learn several cognitive and behavioral techniques to help them manage their fear and and anxiety in session and is encouraged to practice these skills at home. The goal is for him/her to return to “normal” daily functioning as before the traumatic event.

I work with clients using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Expressive Arts, and psychoeducation to address anxiety and stress.
