Assisting others in reducing their daily amount of stress or anxiety is one of my passions in therapy and counseling. I have developed a set of 20+ techniques that have been proven time and time again to reduce, or sometimes even eliminate, the negative effects of stressful events. These interventions can be adapted to use with children, adolescents, or adults with almost any source of stress. Clients will be taught how to practice these strategies until it becomes almost automatic to dismiss the very thought of getting stressed. Methods to deal with more troubling anxiety will also be available when needed or requested.

Anxiety and chronic stress often live not just in your thoughts, but in your nervous system and body. In our work together, we look beyond worry alone and explore how your system may be stuck in patterns of overactivation, tension, or shutdown. Using a somatic, nervous-system–focused approach, I help you build awareness of physical cues and gently develop skills that support regulation and steadiness. As you learn how to calm your body and understand your stress responses, anxiety often becomes more manageable. Clients frequently report feeling more grounded, clear-headed, and better equipped to navigate challenges without becoming overwhelmed.
