Rapid City, South Dakota is one spot that families won't want to miss. While you're there, take the kids on cave tours at Sitting Bull Crystal Caverns, Jewel Caverns, or Wind Cave. And, fathers will want to be sure to take the gang back in time at the Circle B Ranch Chuck Wagon and Trailrides. With playgrounds for the kids and plenty of Old West action, you'll make memories that will last forever. Make sure to check out the Chapel In the Hills, a replica of the 850 year old church the area's Norwegian settlers worshiped in back in the old country. While you're there, don't miss the log cabin museum, built by gold prospectors. The little ones will be dwarfed by the actual size sculptures at Dinosaur Park, but they won't mind a bit. And don't worry, the Tyrannosaur doesn't bite. Younger kids will want to go to Storybook Island again and again. And you can't miss Babyland, featuring baby bears at Bear Country USA.1 Wherever you decide to go, you don't want to miss the fun in Rapid City.
