As part of my Life Coaching services, Career Counseling is often a primary focus. I advise young people regarding initial career choices. Also, those in their 30's, and older, often have a desire to "reinvent" themselves, due to personal choice or from losing a job. A person's skills, aptitude, and desires are assessed in offering some guidance in their career and life choices. Then, I help the individual map out a written, specific, and measurable plan for their chosen goals. A study at the Mayo Clinic found that those who regularly report to someone to coach them on their goals are 10 times more likely to reach those goals.
