Believing that marriage is the building block of families and society, we are strong advocates for healthy marriages. While many are content to help couples survive marriage, we want marriages to thrive. We have experience in helping couples to improve communication, recover from infidelity, reconnect sexually, develop solid co-parenting skills, and build intimacy on several levels - not the least of which is the spiritual health of the marriage. We help couples work within their personalities and strengths to build a strong marriage.

Couples usually come for marriage counseling or couples therapy when a difficult relationship has become painful. This could result from a crisis, an ongoing struggle, a difficult life circumstance, or a betrayal. For many people, the situation feels either scary or hopeless. My goal is to help you rebuild a loving close relationship. I work hard to provide a safe, caring environment where each of you will feel heard and validated that your opinion matters.

I have completed Level 1 training in the Gottman Method. I use this approach when working with couples. I begin with the Gottman Assessment, which consists of more than 300 questions. This assessment provides information such as relationship satisfaction, communication styles, viewpoints on whether you feel known by your partner, trust, infidelity issues, commitment levels, and much more. The assessment provides a roadmap of the journey towards improving communication and the friendship with your spouse.

I am passionate about helping couples navigate their issues and reach their shared goals, as well as helping increase effective communication and rekindle the love they share for each other. I am a strong believer in the power of having a good support system, and that starts with our spouse/significant other. Couples will benefit from having increased productive communication, as well as increased relationship satisfaction, if that is what they are seeking.
