I create a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their relationship with food, body image, and self-esteem. Through a combination of evidence-based therapies such as EMDR, IFS, CBT, DBT, and ACT, clients gain insights into the underlying factors driving their disordered eating behaviors. By developing coping skills, challenging negative thought patterns, and fostering self-compassion, clients can gradually heal their relationship with food and their bodies. I collaborate with registered dietitians to address both the psychological and nutritional aspects. My goal is to empower clients to cultivate a balanced and nourishing approach to eating and living.

"It's not about the food." Therapist will provide support, guidance, and hold space to help client explore and identify the contributing factors that fuel ED thoughts and behaviors. Therapist and client will address issues related to unhealthy relationships with exercise, body image, etc. Identifying as well as processing through triggers, difficult to process through life experiences, and other contributing issues will also be of focus and importance.
