El Paso's mix of Mexican and American cultures has created an interesting place to visit and live. There are lots of great things to do in El Paso. Tex-Mex cuisine is a staple part of El Paso's restaurants and it is one of the best places to experience this southwestern style of food in all of Texas. If you're in the mood for this unique culinary creation, Chico's Tacos is a popular destination. Fortunately, there are a lot of great attractions in El Paso that have nothing to do with food. One of the best of these is the Abraham Chavez Theatre, which is located next to the El Paso Convention and Performing Arts Center. This unique theater is marked by a distinctly southwestern style of architecture and fantastic performances throughout the year.1
