Perhaps you're feeling down, anxious, trying to break free from the grips of drug or alcohol addiction, or have a family member struggling with addiction - maybe you're unsure about the future of a relationship, or just feel that you aren't living the life you were meant to lead. Whatever your needs may be, I am here to offer support. I have many years of experience helping people just like you.

Life can get difficult, and sometimes a little help from a seasoned therapist can make things better. I care about your well-being and provide you all the tools you need in order to seize the day and learn how to tackle even the most traumatic circumstances.

Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery, and in my sessions I promote behavioral transformation by encouraging a positive outlook and the adoption of new attitudes and reactions. I have the tools and professional experience to help you get back on track.

I graduated from Wheelock College in Boston in 2006 with a Masters in Social Work (MSW), and immediately went to work in Lawrence, MA helping clients in underprivileged communities get the help they deserved. I worked with clients of all ages and wide varying diagnoses. I earned my Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) designation in 2009.

Beginning in 2010, I began working with clients addicted to drugs and/or alcohol and treated clients at two of the largest substance abuse centers in the state, helping me to gain a deep understanding of drug/alcohol addiction and how to treat it.

For many years I have worked for private counseling centers helping clients with addiction, depression, anxiety, adult ADHD, and PTSD, as well as parents of those with addiction issues.

In 2012, I had the pleasure of assisting with the creation of the DSM V (the diagnosing manual that sits in every counselor, doctor, psychiatrist, lawyer, and many other professionals' offices). I am cited in the book for my contributions.

I take the following insurances:
Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO/HMO
Harvard Pilgrim PPO/HMO
Tufts PPO/HMO
