Bonnie Luft is a Psychotherapist and Doctor of Behavioral Health candidate, supporting clients in CT and NY, who specializes in helping individuals, couples, and teens reconnect and realign with themselves and others.  In addition, Bonnie welcomes couples that are experiencing communication and connection challenges, when one or both partners have been diagnosed (or suspect) an ADHD or Autism Spectrum diagnosis. Bonnie is passionate about assisting Highly Sensitive Individuals find balance and restoration in their everyday lives. 
 

A calm and empathetic approach is critical to having a safe therapeutic experience. This allows the individual or couple to feel heard, understood, and supported while learning new skills to navigate everyday challenges. Bonnie's approach is warm and supportive, ensuring that the needs of the client are being met with empathy and compassion. 
 
Bonnie believes in holistic therapy that addresses the connections between the mind and body. Using a somatic approach to therapy, together we can regulate a sensitive nervous system to allow healing from anxiety and stress to begin.
 
Bonnie has a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a Master's in Education, and is currently completing her doctorate in Behavioral Health Integrated Care. Bonnie is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindful Based Cognitive Therapy,  Gottman Couples Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and Motivational Interviewing. Bonnie is a Reiki Master Teacher and an advocate for victims of domestic violence.
