Brockton Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is located in Brockton, Massachusetts. Our treatment center is an outpatient clinic and a leading provider of medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Brockton CTC serves adults age 18 and older of all genders who are seeking clinical help for opioid addiction. Our multidisciplinary team of mental healthcare and medical professionals is here to guide and assist patients with every aspect of medication-assisted treatment.

Our goal is to help you start your recovery journey strong. Multiple studies have shown that MAT is an effective treatment option for opioid addiction. Both the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) recommend medication-assisted treatment for people who are seeking recovery from addictions to heroin, oxycodone, fentanyl, and other opioids. MAT combines traditional therapies like group and individual counseling with prescription medications such as Suboxone and methadone to treat addiction.

Unlike methadone clinics that are only allowed to prescribe methadone, Brockton CTC is also authorized to prescribe Suboxone to help ease the symptoms of withdrawal and reduce the rate of relapse. By making withdrawal a less severe experience, MAT encourages participants to continue with treatment and take the necessary steps for a full recovery. MAT programs are not only effective in treating addiction; they save lives by helping prevent dangerous overdoses. Our team of recovery and mental health experts works closely with each MAT patient to develop an individualized treatment plan that meets their needs and helps them reach their personal recovery goals.

The medication-assisted treatment program at Brockton CTC offers therapies needed to address the behavioral, social, and emotional aspects of recovering from opioid addiction. Exploring the causes of addiction through different therapeutic modalities helps patients discover the habits and ways of thinking that must change for them to establish and maintain sobriety. Counseling empowers our patients to gain the skills they need to thrive without the use of opioids after their treatment is over.

At our Brockton clinic, our caring team makes every effort to simplify the admissions process so that patients can access addiction treatment as soon as possible. Medical and behavioral evaluations are an important part of that process. The information we gather from your medical history and any recommended diagnostics ensures that your individualized treatment plan is one that meets all your needs. Once we have established the most effective medications and therapies for you, addiction treatment can begin.
