You may look successful on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, depressed, or frustrated by patterns in your life and relationships that keep repeating themselves. Sometimes you know something needs to change, but you’re not quite sure how to make that happen.
I work with adults and couples dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, and the lasting effects of difficult childhood experiences. I also work with people who have found themselves in narcissistic or emotionally unhealthy relationships, as well as those struggling with anxiety-driven patterns of control, avoidance, or manipulation.
My approach is supportive, direct, and collaborative. Therapy isn't simply about talking about what happened to you. It's about understanding how your experiences shaped what you came to believe about yourself, other people, and relationships—and recognizing how those beliefs may still be influencing your life today.
Together, we'll identify the patterns that are keeping you stuck, understand where they came from, and work toward healthier ways of thinking, responding, and relating to others.
You don't have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Sometimes the first step is simply recognizing that the way things are isn't the way you want them to stay.
