You’re heartbroken and find yourself in relationships with dramatic ups and downs. You notice patterns that leave you drained, confused, and questioning yourself: “How did I not see the red flags sooner?” You might feel overwhelmed, unseen, and unsure how to break free from the cycle. These patterns are not your fault—they’re common, and they’re something we can work through. My trauma-informed, attachment-focused approach helps you understand how past experiences influence your present, rebuild your self-worth, and reconnect with who you truly are and what you genuinely want in love.

I’m Kathleen, a social worker (RSW) who believes healing happens in relationships where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. Life can feel overwhelming—whether you’re navigating heartbreak, repeating relationship patterns, family stress, or challenges with self-worth and identity. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where individuals, teens, and families can explore these challenges without judgment and start feeling more in control of their lives.

With over 12 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals, teens, and families in both community and clinical settings. I work with clients navigating breakup grief, co-parenting challenges, anxiety, depression, and recurring patterns in relationships and family dynamics. I understand how old patterns, communication struggles, and relational stress can leave you feeling frustrated or disconnected—and I help clients find practical ways to navigate these challenges and reconnect with what matters most.I am fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and passionate about supporting Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing clients, creating therapy that is accessible, comfortable, and empowering.

My approach is trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and person-centered. I use an emotionally-focused and attachment-based lens to help you understand old patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and strengthen connections with yourself and others. Therapy with me is collaborative: we work together to explore your experiences, uncover your needs, and develop tools that fit your life. I create a space where individuals  feel safe to express emotions, try new ways of relating, and gradually build trust and understanding.

I believe every person has the capacity to grow, heal, and build relationships that feel nourishing rather than draining. Together we can unpack and take meaningful steps toward healthier relationships and stronger connections.
If you’re ready to feel heard, make sense of old patterns, and move toward more fulfilling relationships and family connections, I would be honored to support you.
