Individual Counselling for Life Transitions, Relationship Challenges & Emotional Wellbeing

When Life Feels Overwhelming

Sometimes life breaks you wide open.

Divorce, loss of a loved one, or a diagnosis that changes everything and you find yourself facing a future you never expected.

These emotionally complex experiences can leave you feeling anxious, depressed, stressed, angry, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you.

You may have spent years coping by pushing through, avoiding difficult emotions, caring for everyone else, or carrying burdens in silence. Eventually, those strategies stop working.

Break Unhelpful Patterns. Build a Different Way Forward.

Lasting change isn't about trying harder. It's about understanding the patterns underneath your thoughts, emotions, and reactions so you can respond with greater awareness and intention.

Counselling can help you:

  • Break recurring emotional and relationship patterns
  • Reduce anxiety, stress, and overwhelm
  • Strengthen self-trust and emotional resilience
  • Navigate major life transitions
  • Improve communication and boundaries
  • Develop healthier ways of coping and relating

The goal isn't perfection.

It's creating a life where you feel more peace, deeper connections, and able to move forward with confidence and clarity.

A Calm, Insightful Approach to Therapy

I help individuals navigate emotionally complex situations with greater insight, stability, and self-understanding.

Together, we'll explore what is happening beneath emotional overwhelm, reactivity, and relational challenges, helping you make sense of your experience without judgment or shame.

I will  help you make sense of your experience so that you can make choices that align with who you are and how you want to live. Peace, agency, and deep connection with yourself and others is possible. You can emerge stronger, wiser and transformed.

Trauma-Informed, Evidence-Based Counselling

My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strengths-based.

I draw from:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Solution-Focused Therapy
  • Narrative Therapy
  • Attachment Theory
  • Indigenous perspectives on wellness
  • Nuero Affective Relational Model

I am experienced in in crisis intervention, conflict de-escalation, suicide risk assessment, and critical incident debriefing.

Therapy That Honours the Whole Person

I understand how grief, loss, conflict, betrayal, and life transitions can impact every area of a person's life. I also understand that healing involves more than managing symptoms—it involves reconnecting with yourself, your values, your relationships, and your capacity for growth.

My process is designed to be empowering, insightful, and focused and brings structure to emotionally overwhelming experiences.

Together, we'll create space for insight, healing, and meaningful change.

My work is shaped by both professional training and lived experience. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Indigenous Studies (Vancouver Island University) and Master of Education, Leadership in Learning (Yorkville University) which provides an enhanced understanding of the processes of change, transformation, and human development. This is complemented by a Life Coach Certificate (Rhodes Wellness College) and a Diploma in Applied Psychology and Counselling Specializing in Professional Counselling (Kelowna College of Professional Counselling).

If you're navigating an emotionally difficult season and want support that is compassionate, practical, and focused on lasting change, I'd be honoured to walk alongside you.
