Education:
Patricia is qualified to help you because she has a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling, a Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. She is Licensed by the State of Texas as a Professional Counselor, and a Chemical Dependency Counselor and has a certificate as a Certified Trauma Practitioner-Clinical.
What appears to separate her from other Licensed Therapist and Christian Counselors is that she focuses on the common needs in therapy and always encourages self-discovery, hope, and individual potential. She expresses that a belief in yourself, a practice of positive self-talk which fosters self-love, and a sense of hope will create a formula for internal healing.
The belief that God is important for true internal healing is something that she compassionately shares with her clients.

I also work with children who suffer from trauma, and issues that plague today’s youth. Children primarily want someone to listen, listen, listen. The youth are a sensitive population that I am qualified to work with based on my years at an adolescent substance abuse facility, and many years at a behavioral hospital.
