Sierra at Southlake Outpatient Care is a premier outpatient treatment center in Southlake, Texas, supporting adults age 18 and older who have a variety of behavioral health conditions, including depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, eating disorders and co-occurring addictions. Our mission is to offer clients a safe healing environment where they can benefit from a collaborative team of professionals working to deliver empathy, insight and empowering treatment services.

Our therapeutic approach recognizes that people are more than the symptoms they are experiencing and that each of us has important physical, emotional and spiritual needs. At Sierra at Southlake, we strive to meet our clients’ unique needs through personalized and evidence-based treatments. Our multidisciplinary staff, which includes registered nurses (RNs), nurse practitioners, licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs) and licensed professional counselors (LPCs), forms the heart of the treatment experience at Sierra at Southlake. And each client who seeks care with us has the chance to work closely with a treatment team that is dedicated to addressing their individual needs.

Our outpatient treatment center offers two levels of care: a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Clients may enter our PHP or IOP after stepping down from a higher level of care or stepping up from traditional outpatient services. Other clients might choose to enter our program directly to find the support they are seeking.

In our PHP and IOP, we draw on a range of therapies that can include motivational interviewing, internal family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and the Seeking Safety model. During your time at our clinic, you might participate in individual, family and group therapies depending on your individual needs and treatment goals. Our group therapy offerings may include groups based on DBT and CBT, as well as groups that focus on goal setting, coping skills development, recovery and emotion regulation.

Your length of stay in our PHP or IOP will depend on your own needs, but in general, a client’s time at Sierra at Southlake can range from multiple weeks to a few months. During your time in either program, you can receive medical care from our RNs and benefit from medication management services if you need them. Our PHP offers clients intensive programming five days per week, while our IOP welcomes clients to attend partial-day sessions offered four days per week.

While taking part in either outpatient program at Sierra at Southlake, you can live at home or in another community residence, practicing skills you learn in treatment in your everyday life. This approach can help clients gradually transition back to their regular routines and responsibilities.

At Sierra at Southlake Outpatient Care, we are ready to support people who are seeking structured outpatient services for mental health disorders and co-occurring conditions. The staff at our mental health treatment center will work with you to deliver individualized care, from your initial admissions assessment through to your unique recommendations for continuing care when outpatient treatment ends.
