You might be high-functioning on the outside, but exhausted on the inside. From the outside, you’re keeping it together, getting things done, showing up for everyone else. Inside, it can feel like anxiety, burnout, overthinking, people-pleasing, or harsh self-criticism is running the show. A lot of people I work with feel like they are managing life, but not really living it in a way that feels good.

It can also start to feel frustrating when you have already tried to “figure it out” on your own. You might have read, reflected, talked it through, or even done therapy before, but still find yourself ending up in the same emotional loops. That is often where people land when they come to me. Not because they are failing, but because insight alone is not always enough to create change.

In our work together, I keep things practical, collaborative, and grounded in your actual day-to-day life. We look at the patterns that keep repeating in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships, and start to understand what is driving them. Then we focus on what helps shift them in real, sustainable ways so things do not just make sense in theory, but actually feel different in practice.

I am not a super formal therapist, and I do not believe therapy has to feel heavy or overly clinical to be effective. I bring humour, honesty, and a very human approach to sessions. Sometimes that means naming things directly, sometimes it means laughing at how weird or frustrating being life can be. I also do not take myself too seriously, which I hope creates an environment where you feel free to show up as your authentic self as well.

I work with people navigating anxiety, burnout, self-worth, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, and relationship stress, especially when it feels like you are doing “fine” on the outside but struggling underneath. Often it's about learning how to feel more grounded, more self-trusting, and less stuck in your head.

Therapy with me is not about endlessly analyzing everything or getting lost in therapy-speak. It is about understanding yourself in a clearer way and building tools that actually help you move through life differently.

If you have been thinking about starting therapy but are not sure where to begin, that first step can honestly be the hardest part. Reaching out can feel awkward, vulnerable, or like you need to have everything figured out before you even get in the door, but I promise you don't. A consultation is a simple, low-pressure conversation where we can get a sense of what you are going through, what you are looking for, and whether working together feels like a good fit. No pressure, no commitment, just a starting point.
