Located in sunny Boca Raton, Florida, Wellness Resource Center is Florida’s premier outpatient addiction treatment center for adults age 18 and older. With co-occurring disorder treatment and a wide variety of therapies and holistic approaches to well-being, Wellness Resource Center offers an ideal place to work toward recovery from an addiction. Our treatment program follows a phased approach that can be highly effective at helping people work toward lasting recovery.

During Phase I, clients enter our partial hospitalization program (PHP). This program meets seven days a week and can include individual therapy, group therapy, and meetings with mental health professionals. In this initial phase of recovery, clients live in on-site community housing with other people who are working toward recovery. Clients also receive access to 24/7 support from staff. Outside regular treatment, clients can also visit the gym, attend 12-Step meetings in the community, or shop for groceries as needed. The length of Phase I can range from 28 days to 120 days depending on the needs of each client. This treatment phase involves helping clients understand the disorders they are struggling with while building skills and coping mechanisms that they can use long after treatment ends.

Phase II is our intensive outpatient program (IOP). In this phase, clients continue living at our housing facilities while attending treatment part time and looking for employment. Typically, Phase II lasts between 30 and 60 days while clients find their footing. Clients typically transition to living at a local sober living house or transitional housing. Our evening IOP program supports people who are unable to meet during the day. This program allows our clients to participate in treatment from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. It can include evidence-based practices for recovery, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing.

At Wellness Resource Center, we understand that recovery can be a lifelong process. We offer extensive continuing care plans for clients who have completed our treatment programs to ensure that everyone can get the long-term support they need to work toward lasting recovery. In addition, we understand the severe impact that mental health disorders can have on a substance use disorder. That's why we offer co-occurring disorder treatment, which can help people who have anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia, and other mental health concerns. Left untreated, people who have co-occurring disorders may have much higher rates of relapse after treatment. We create an individualized treatment plan for each patient, treating addiction and mental health disorders simultaneously.

Struggling with an addiction can be incredibly draining, stressful, and isolating. But at Wellness Resource Center, you don’t have to work toward recovery on your own. Our compassionate team of trained counselors, therapists, physicians, and support staff are here to help you each step of the way. Recovery isn’t easy, but it is possible at Wellness Resource Center.
