Adrienne provides a compassionate and grounded presence, shaped by over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families through times of change and vulnerability. Her journey into psychotherapy has been informed by many years of providing direct support in homes and communities, where she learned to attune to others’ needs, offer steady guidance, and hold safe space for complex and challenging emotions.
Adrienne’s professional background includes extensive training as a postpartum doula and certification as a Baby-Led Sleep and Well-Being Specialist™. In these roles, she has supported families during the sensitive early stages of parenting, helping them navigate sleepless nights, identity shifts, and the emotional overwhelm that often accompanies the transition into parenthood. Through practical strategies and compassionate listening, she has helped new parents feel less isolated, more confident, and more connected to themselves and their growing families.
Her work is also shaped by her personal life as a mother of four, including parenting a neurodivergent child. This lived experience provides Adrienne with a unique perspective on the joys, complexities, and challenges of caregiving. She brings empathy and authenticity into her therapeutic practice, meeting clients without judgment and recognizing the unique stories each person carries. She also honours the broader systems, relationships, and identities that influence people’s lives and well-being.
Beyond her focus on perinatal and parenting support, Adrienne has offered counselling in a non-profit, subsidized therapy environment, where she has helped individuals navigate trauma, crisis, and complex mood disorders. She has worked with diverse populations, including members of the LGBTQ2S+ community, and is deeply dedicated to creating a therapeutic space that is inclusive, affirming, and safe. Adrienne has supported both men and women across the lifespan, each bringing their own strengths and struggles to the therapeutic setting.
Her clinical approach is integrative and relational, meaning she draws from multiple evidence-based modalities to meet the individual needs of each client. She incorporates elements of narrative therapy, Internal Family Systems-informed work, somatic awareness, and mindfulness-based practices. Adrienne’s work prioritizes emotional safety, cultivating self-compassion, and fostering authentic therapeutic connections.
Whether supporting new parents as they adapt to family life, walking alongside individuals healing from childhood trauma, or offering grounding support to those experiencing major life transitions, Adrienne provides a calm, attuned, and non-judgmental presence. Her goal is to create a space where clients feel truly seen, deeply understood, and compassionately supported as they move toward resilience, growth, and healing.
