Marriage Counselling

Marriage is not the “happily ever after” ending of the story. Rather, it is a challenging beginning in which we are called on to heal from our own wounds and create a conscious way of interacting. Marriage requires respect and vulnerability as well as love in order to mature into a meaningful relationship. Effective communication can only occur when each partner has their own secure base. Marital therapy examines the underlying values and assumptions that each partner brings to the marriage. In this context the couple can learn to resolve emotional hurt, trust issues and feelings of isolation through the development of effective communication skills.

Times of crisis are special opportunities for healing, change and growth.
