Past
experiences can impact our ability to be vulnerable and trusting. Healing
is a journey of self-reflection, exploration, and curiosity that starts with
establishing trust and strengthening the therapeutic connection. I strive to
establish and maintain trust by being empathetic, an effective listener, and
validating. It is important to feel heard, seen, and validated.
I
am a queer, poly-affirming, and neurodivergent therapist who supports clients
with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism, learning difficulties,
with sexuality, gender identity, attachments, relationship issues, trauma, open
and consensual non-monogamous relationships, kink, trust and self-esteem issues,
depression, anxiety, life transitions, and managing stress/anger.
I use a collaborative and integrative approach using
mindfulness, somatic therapy, family systems, solution-focused, behavioral
therapy, and an existential approach to help clients explore meaning and
purpose in their lives, process their lived experiences, and develop healthy
coping skills.
