Hello and welcome to my page! Life transitions can often feel overwhelming and navigating them can be challenging. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, grief or the stress of life's changes, it can be difficult to feel like you are moving forward. I understand how isolating these struggles can be which is why I am here to provide a supportive, non-judgmental space to help you work through these issues. My goal is to assist you in overcoming life's challenges by helping you achieve your therapy goals and creating a life worth living and filled with meaning and purpose.

In my practice, I specialize in helping individuals manage a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, self-esteem and self-worth issues, life's transitions, stress, grief and loss and relationship difficulties. By focusing on your unique needs we will work together to address challenges in a way that is tailored to you. Therapy will allow you to see benefits such as decreased anxiety and depression, improved self-esteem and self-worth, reduced stress, and enhanced coping skills. You can also learn to manage emotions more effectively, reduce impulsivity, improve communication and create stronger relationships.

I incorporate several therapeutic approaches to ensure that your treatment plan is most effective for you. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one such approach by assisting individuals in identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors. Through CBT you will learn to replace unhealthy thoughts with more balanced ways of thinking and coping enabling long-term changes in your mental health. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) which focuses on helping individuals in staying grounded in the present moment, tolerate emotional distress and manage interpersonal relationships more effectively. For those looking for more brief, solution-oriented therapy, I also use Solution Focused Brief Therapy. This approach helps you to focus on your strengths providing you with the tools to solve your problems and move forward with confidence. Additionally, I utilize Motivational Interviewing to explore and resolve ambivalence helping you to strengthen your commitment to make positive life changes.

My services are available for $150 per session.  I also accept a variety of insurance providers including Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna and Evernorth. I also offer a free 15-minutes phone consultation to discuss your needs. I offer in-person appointments at my office in Scottsdale or via telehealth for increased flexibility. I can be reached directly at (623) 349-1094.

With a Master's Degree in Social Work from Arizona State University and over 18 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am committed to providing compassionate, effective therapy that empowers you to achieve a healthier and more fulfilling life.
