As a psychotherapist I am dedicated to improving the health and well being of my clients and it is my goal to make the therapeutic process as comfortable as possible. I work from a positive psychology perspective geared towards increasing confidence, self-esteem and helping you recognize your individual strengths. Whether you are interested in Short Term, Long Term, or a One time therapy session; I can assist with feelings of depression, anxiety, sleeplessness, heightened sensitivity, chronic pain, and environmental stress associated with work and school. By increasing your self awareness we can address the way you view your self and the experiences around you. Everybody has a story and sometimes we need a little help to get over the hurdles in life from time to time.
My work history entails 15 + years experience within the mental health field stemming from Crisis Worker in the emergency dept. at Southlake Regional Health Centre, On scene response with victim services york region (vol.) and lastly extensive counselling/case management experience with Dual diagnosis clients, Acquired/Traumatic Brain Injury clients & At Risk Children/Youth.
