My comprehensive counseling services include therapy for adult individuals, couples, and families. I also offer group therapy and hypnosis as indicated to your care. Counseling can help sort out confusing feelings, lessen distress, and create positive change in your life.

In the first few sessions of counseling, I will be getting to know you, gaining and understanding of your specific concerns, your personality and relationship dynamics, and the challenges you face. If you are in crisis, I will help with getting through the crisis and then addressing other concerns which may help prevent future crises.

I can also help navigate difficult relationships, deal with the aftermath of war trauma, and help address the concerns and effects of adults with past history of childhood abuse. You can benefit from counseling in many ways. Here are just some of the ways you can utilize counseling to improve the quality of your life!
Gain a fresh perspective from a neutral party
Mediate difficult communication in relationships   Understand hidden motivations and feelings that interfere with everyday functioning
Cope with chronic pain
   Improve memory
   Build self-esteem and self-confidence
Capitalize on strengths   Explore spiritual concerns
Speak the truth about your history and break through denial

Counseling is a relational process that can help you to see yourself more clearly. I believe that most people are striving for improvement, fulfillment, and making a contribution to the world through individuation or development of what is unique about them. I believe that most "symptoms" are indicators that something requires attention. Pain is a signal to attend to injury. Anger may be a signal of violation or betrayal. Traumatic memory or flashbacks may mean that it is time to talk about the trauma. Friends and family may not be able to help, but counseling can.
