I believe strongly in providing a therapeutic space that is both emotionally compassionate enough to provide the safety you need and behaviorally challenging enough for you to grow out of old patterns. 


I specialize in working with high functioning professionals that are struggling through depression, grief, and loss, but don't know how to give themselves space to heal with everything that is on their plate. May it be processing a divorce, outgrowing your friendships, or managing major life transitions, high performers don't experience depression and anxiety in the same way. 
 
I'd love to guide you through this difficult time by helping you process the inner conflict you are facing. First, we will practice acceptance as you come to terms with the changes you are going through. Then, we will identify limiting behaviors and beliefs that keep you stuck. Finally, we will build a new life that makes you feel whole again.

DIVORCE: As a therapist who has spent many years serving couples and co-parents I am very familiar with the stages marriages go through when they are coming to an end. Loss of community, managing blame/guilt for the end of your relationship, Splitting time with your kids. You didn't just lose your relationship, you lose a whole lifestyle. I'd love to help you build a new life you love. 
 
 
FAMILY DYNAMICS: The more we grow the more our old family patterns can weigh on us. We want to outgrow certain spaces, but when you love your family enough that "cutting them off" doesn't seem like a viable option, learning new ways to relate to them can be challenging when they show no signs of changing. I'd love to help you have more agency in your life. 
 
 
LONG TERM SOBRIETY: In my early years of practice, I worked with clients in long term recovery. I am very familiar with the difficult choices people have to make to maitain long term sobriety. The early parts of recovery that require paying your debts are daunting, but relatively simple to address. Addressing your triggers to avoid relapse, building a sober community, living up to your purpose....all much more daunting. I'd love to help. 




Location:
I am licensed to work with clients that reside in NY & NJ

Cost:
We work with your insurance's OUT OF NETWORK benefits. 
After meeting your out of network deductible, you can expect a 50-70% of the session fee reimbursed.
So, while our session fee is $200, our average client ends up paying $50-$90.
