Throughout my 20 years of professional experience in the human services field I have been driven by a passion for helping others that I now bring to Clinical Counselling. I find it incredibly rewarding to support youth, adults, and families in overcoming distressing and traumatic life events, and helping them to realize their strengths and resilient qualities. In my clinical counselling practice I work collaboratively with youth and adults who experience: anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief and loss, suicide ideation, self-harming behavior, and traumatic life events.
My priority is to provide you with a supportive, understanding and safe therapeutic environment where you may feel comfortable to explore distressing experiences.
My life experiences inform my practice. Being married for 33 years and raising three children, now young adults, has increased my empathy, compassion, and understanding for individuals experiencing diverse issues.
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I am committed to providing you support through your healing journey. A respectful therapeutic relationship is important for healing; driving my mission to support you through life-enhancing, holistic therapy in an environment that honours your privacy and integrity.
