Feeling stressed, sad, angry or anxious are normal reactions to too much pressure, lack of control or not knowing how to cope. Sometimes emotions can be overwhelming and frightening. When challenges persist, and if they seem to block you from living a positive and satisfying life, you might wish to seek help in finding solutions that can bring you and/or your loved ones back on track.

My approach in therapy is gentle, flexible and adapted to your needs, such as helping you to understand your thoughts, emotions and actions and make the necessary changes that will help you improve the quality of your life now and into the future.
I introduce clients to Mindfulness, living in the moment, a positive attitude and relaxing Breath Meditation.
It will help you to become more grounded and able to better work with and through Life Challenges.
At times the arts can effectively facilitate verbal expression. Artistic experience is not necessary at all, as the process is more important than the product. When working with children I use play and art (drawing, painting, sculpting, puppets, story-telling through figurines, mask- and music making and movement). Their language is the language of play, and this allows me as the therapist, to enter their world of emotions, imagination and thinking more easily.
I have more than 20 years experience in helping individuals ... couples, singles, families, parents, seniors and their caregivers, and I am fluent in English, French and German.
I'm a Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Parenting Facilitator with a Master Degree in Expressive Therapies. I'm a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and I'm a registered and certified member of OACCPP (Ontario Association of Counsellors, Consultants, Psychotherapists and Consultants).
I have also worked at Halton French Catholic Schools as a therapist, with the Ontario Justice System and The Children's Lawyer of Ontario. I have volunteered my services to Big Brothers and Sisters, the Halton Women's Center, Wellspring, Canadian Music Competitions, The Kidney Foundation, individuals with cancer and disabilities and HIEC Women as Career Coaches.
My services, supervised by Dr. Jill Pickett, PhD. C.Psych. are covered by EXTENDED HEALTH CARE PLANS
