I'm so glad that you are viewing my profile! My name is Clay Parker. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate with a long history of working in the mental health field in various capacities. I have a Masters of Science from Walden University. I have experience with adults, children, couple and family therapy. In my work, the focus often times involves exploring healthier ways to address any concerns that are creating challenges. I like to be creative with the counseling techniques that I employ in order to help people address their problems in a non-threatening and fun way.

Specialized areas include anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, stress related issues, divorce, pre-marital counseling , children and divorce, grief, stress management. I believe that faith and humor can help people cope through difficult times and I manifest both of these beliefs within the therapy interventions that I use.

I use an integrative therapeutic approach, including CBT, Person Centered, and Adlerian based play therapy to address the concerns, worries, or hurts that you or your loved one may be experiencing. I believe in partnering with the individual and the supports around them. My main philosophy is that you are not an individual that need to be fixed, you are someone who need to be healed! I incorporate this in every step of your care.

I truly believe that everyone is unique and I get to know you in that way and that is one of my missions. I create services to cater to your need and along the way we walk this journey together. I make sure to make every effort to make sure that you feel special and that you are heard. I offer you choices in your care and make attempts to foster an environment that inspires you. In this process, we laugh, cry and dream together while offering a therapeutic modality that gives you a solid toolbox in order to be self sufficient in your situation. I am a believer in inspiring and offering one hope in any situation. I have a saying that "I don't fix anyone, I offer a platform to heal in my office".
