Ken Waldman is a Licensed Psychologist with over 40 years of postdoctoral experience. His Ph.D. is in Counseling Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. He then worked at university counseling centers for 36 years--now retired from serving 23 years as Director for the University of Houston's Counseling and Testing Service. Although he has many individual clients with some type of adult relationship problems, he specializes in working with couples. Dr. Waldman is active and directive as a therapist, usually making a significant difference within a very few sessions. Dr. Waldman is available for teletherapy most weekdays, some evenings and on Saturdays. He can be reached at (713) 774-2122.

Karen Waldman is a Licensed Psychologist with 30 years of postdoctoral experience. Her Ph.D. is in Counseling Psychology from the University of Houston. She spent 18 years as a staff Psychologist at the Michael E. Debakey Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in Houston and also had an appointment as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine. She has training and experience in such diverse areas as couples counseling, geropsychology, health psychology, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and clinical hypnosis. She is the author of a number of journal articles as well as nine publications in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. She offers teletherapy and has a flexible schedule. Together they soon plan to publish their book: Self-Help for Couples: A Simple and Effective Guide. Drs. Ken and Karen Waldman have similar therapeutic styles. They both teach effective communication and conflict resolution skills while striving to help couples enhance their emotional, physical, and sexual intimacy. They are also available to serve as co-therapists if requested by the couple. They have been married for 39 years and have 11 fabulous grandchildren.
