- Solution Based Therapy - developing solutions, rather than focusing on the problem
- Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy - emphasis is on focusing on one thing in the here and now, moving away from living in the past or the future
- Systemic Family Therapy - exploring the internal and external factors that influence the relationships in your life
- Emotionally Focused Therapy - exploring emotional responses to situations, rather than solving the problem
Cost:
- $150/hour for individuals
- Receipts are provided for you to submit to your insurance provider
Education:
- Master’s of Education (MEd) in Counselling from the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC)
- Additional training: Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Person Centered Therapy (PCT), Solution Based Therapy (SBT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Couples Counselling using Systemic Family Therapy (SFT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
