Indianapolis Comprehensive Treatment Center View Specialties

Indianapolis Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. We are a premier outpatient addiction treatment center, providing services for adults age 18 and older of all genders who are seeking treatment for opioid addiction. Opioids include heroin, morphine, OxyContin, fentanyl, and other prescription painkillers.

Indianapolis CTC provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to help people achieve long-term recovery from opioid addiction. MAT is a well-researched treatment method that utilizes prescription medications to help alleviate the painful and sometimes dangerous side effects of opioid withdrawal. Concerns about relapse prevent many people from seeking treatment for opioid addiction. Relapsing during withdrawal can lead to a fatal overdose. Medications used in MAT not only alleviate withdrawal symptoms but also save lives by preventing relapse.

Medication-assisted treatment is recommended by many of the world’s most respected health organizations, including the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The goal of the medications used in MAT is to eliminate the intense opioid withdrawal symptoms that create an obstacle to recovery.

At our treatment center, we offer a variety of medications to help our patients. Patients may be prescribed methadone, Suboxone, naltrexone, or buprenorphine depending on their specific needs. Each patient must undergo a thorough assessment before being admitted to our program. The information gathered from this assessment guides our clinicians as they develop an individualized treatment plan for each patient. Every person’s recovery journey is different, and every patient at Indianapolis CTC receives the personalized treatment they need for success.

Group and individual counseling is an important part of our comprehensive services. Group sessions bring peers together to share their successes and challenges with others who understand what they are going through. Building a support network is integral to maintaining recovery, and group therapy is an important first step. In one-on-one therapy sessions, patients can discuss personal concerns with a behavioral health professional. They will receive nonjudgmental feedback and learn the skills needed to continue recovery after treatment is over. Individual therapy also provides an opportunity to make plans for long-term recovery, including rebuilding relationships and avoiding relapse.

The caring staff at Indianapolis CTC is committed to providing treatment that addresses the social, physical, emotional, and cognitive needs of our patients. We share one goal: to help each patient build a path to recovery. From the moment you call to schedule an intake appointment, you will be treated with the respect and dignity you deserve.
